Ultraviolette Automotive has taken up the challenge to market a electric scooter named Tesseract. The EV manufacturer has been able to grab a lot of prominence thanks to their new launch as well as bike designs. The new Tesseract electric scooter was launched today at an introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh, This is an introductory price that would be applied only to the first 10, 000 buyers. After that, the prices would be revised for the buyers and would be priced at Rs 1.45 lakh. Deliveries of the of the electric scooter will commence in the first quarter of 2026.
The Electric scooter segment has showcased profound growth over the years, planning to harness the growth the brand has launched its new scooter. This would be the first scooter from Ultraviolette. The brand had started its production journey with electric bikes. But with the new launch, the company would be competing with the likes of Ola Electirc, Ather Energy, TVS etc.
Design And features
The Ultraviolette Tesseract has been designed to look apart from any of the existing scooters. The brand has been synonymous with aggressive design as was visible in some of the bikes were introduced by the brand in India. The Scooter is available in a wide array of shades which include pink, black, and sand. The scooter has been designed to seem appealing to youngsters who would be some of the most prominent buyers of the new EV scooters.
The Design of the scooter would include a windscreen along with a7.0 inch TFT screen. To further make the everyday commute for the buyers easier the company has been able to provide the scooter with a 34 liter under seat storage compartment as well. Tesseract would further be marketed with multiple segment first features such as rear collision alert, handlebar with haptic feedback and inbuilt spatial awareness sensors.
Powertrain
The EV would be able to churn out a figure of around 20.10 BHP along with a range of about 261 km range on a full charge. As per the manufacturers, the tesseract would be capable of reaching a top speed of 126 km/h, with 0 to 60 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds.
