Ultraviolette recently launched a new updated model of its electric motorcycle, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. The new electric motorcycle is cheaper than the old model with the Recon variant getting an introductory price tag of Rs 3,99,999. Motor & Battery
Although the Recon Mach 2 is equipped with the same 10.3 kWh battery, the range is significantly higher than what the old model offered. The new model retains the battery and charging time. However, the Mach 2 gets a new Supernova UV charging option. The motor is now larger, delivering a maximum power of 30kW and 100Nm of peak torque. This means an increase of 1 kW and 5Nm. The electric motorcycle is now quicker and faster than before.

Features
Ultraviolette has introduced 10 levels of regenerative braking with the F77 Mach 2 Recon. The electric motorcycle is equipped with four levels of traction control and Dynamic Stability Control for added safety. The Recon variant gets these as standard features. On the other hand, the old F77 Recon only had three levels of regeneration, with little difference between them and without traction control.

Additionally, the F77 Mach 2 comes with advanced features like geofencing/delta watch, lockdown, crash alerts, Violette AI, ride analytics, charge limit, Deep sleep/vacation, park assist, and find my F77.
The F77 Mach 2 will also feature tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, onboard navigation, display themes, and more in the future.
Colour Options
The previous model came with three colour options: Plasma Red, Supersonic Silver, and Stealth Gray. On the other hand, the new F77 Mach 2 Recon is available in a total of nine colours. The Laser version of the F77 Mach 2 is available in Afterburner Yellow, Plasma Red, and Turbo Red, while the Shadow variant is offered in Cosmic Black, Stealth Gray, and Asteroid Gray colours. The Airstrike variant is painted in Supersonic Silver, Stellar White, and Lightning Blue shades.
Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon New Vs Old: Price
Apart from the details mentioned above, there are no other differences between the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon new vs old variant except for the price. The Mach 2 Recon costs Rs 40,000 less than the previous model at Rs 3,99,999. Last year’s model was priced a Rs 4,40,000.
