Ultraviolette, India’s fastest electric motorcycle manufacturer, has launched the second version of its F77. The new motorcycle is named Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. It marks the beginning of a new era in the electric vehicle landscape and offers more power and range than the F77. Over time, Ultraviolette has upgraded the motorcycle to integrate more features than before.
Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2: Price, Availability And Colour Options
First of all, the prices are no longer expensive. The F77 was priced between Rs 3.8 lakh and Rs 5.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The F77 Mach 2 is available in two different variants – standard and Recon.
The base model of the new Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh, while the top-end Recon costs Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The colour options include – Stealth Grey, Asteroid Grey, Cosmic Grey with Shadow personas, Stellar White, Lightning Blue with Airstrike persona, Plasma Red, Afterburner Yellow with Laser, Turbo Red, and Supersonic Silver.
Notably, the introductory prices of F77 Mach 2 are for only the first 1,000 customers. Bookings for 15 cities in India have begun, while deliveries will commence in May 2024.
Specs, Features And Battery
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon produces 40.2bhp of max power and 100Nm of peak torque. It boasts a top speed of 155 km/h and can hit 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and 0 to 100 km/h in 7.7 seconds, while the range figure is an impressive 323 kilometres.
If you compare these figures with the old top-end F77 Limited variant, you won’t see a drastic change. Additionally, the new motorcycle retains the dimensions, weight and battery size. The F77 Mach 2 packs a 7.1 kWh battery which offers a claimed range of 211 km, while the F77 Mach 2 Recon comes with a bigger 10.3 kWh battery with a claimed range of 323 km.
Both motorcycles reach a top speed of 155 km/h. The F77 Mach 2 gets additional features such as 4 levels of traction control, 10 levels of regenerative braking, an anti-collision warning system, DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), Delta Watch, towing alerts, and more.

Optional packages
As standard features, both variants are equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument screen with UV Automotive Linux OS, ride modes (Glide, Combat, Ballistic), DSC, hazard lights, hill hold assist, auto-dimming LED headlight with DRLs, park assist, dual channel ABS, 12 kW DC charging capability, standard charger with a Boost charger option, 3 year or 30,000 km vehicle warranty, and find my F77.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 and F77 Mach 2 Recon are built on a trellis steel frame with an aluminium bulkhead. Other hardware parts include 320mm disc at the front, 230mm disc at the rear, 110/70 R17 front and 150/60 R17 rear tyres, 41mm fork at the front and mono-shock at the rear (both preload adjustable), and LTE connectivity with eSim. The first 1,000 buyers will get a Performance Pack for free.
Violette A.I is another optional package which includes remote lockdown, fall and towing, alerts for movement, crash alerts, an anti-collision warning system and daily ride stats.
The Recon variant has an 8-year/8,000,000 km powertrain warranty, while the standard variant comes with 5 year/1,00,000 km warranty, which is optional.
