TVS has launched an updated version of its renowned high-speed bike, the Apache RTR 160 4V. The new model comes with an improved dual-channel anti-lock braking system, enhancing safety measures by aiding in preventing accidents caused by tire slippage. Additionally, a larger 240 mm rear disc brake has been incorporated, providing enhanced tire control. The introductory price for this new bike is set at Rs 1.34 lakh, offering a notable power increase of 17.6 hp compared to its predecessor. Its revamped front appearance adds to its allure.

The revamped bike was showcased at Motosoul 2023 in Goa. However, the company has yet to announce the delivery date. The Apache RTR 160 4V introduces three distinct modes – Sport, Urban, and Rain. Notably, a new light blue color option will be available, adding to the bike’s visual appeal.

The current version in the market offers a single disc and an anti-lock braking system, with the base model priced at Rs 1.24 lakh ex-showroom. Presently, four variants of the bike are available, featuring a 159.7cc engine. Generating 17.3 bhp power and 14.73 Nm peak torque, the bike boasts a 12-liter fuel tank. Equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and alloy wheels, the Apache RTR 160 4V features tubeless tires, stylish DRL, and a substantial headlight. It offers a comfortable suspension, an adjustable clutch and brake lever on the handlebar, and a 5-speed gearbox, showcasing high-performance capabilities. The bike is designed with larger tire sizes, ensuring enhanced stability on various terrains.
