TVS Ronin: As the festive season is approaching soon and many automotive companies’ eyes on new launches and tempting discounts. India’s leading 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler manufacturer TVS motor now tries to lure its customers by pouring in attractive discounts for them.
TVS has slashed the price of Ronin’s base variant by ₹15,000. The TVS Ronin is available in four variants: SS, DS, TD and TD Special Edition. The latest price drop is only for the base SS variant, which now costs ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The price cut makes the Ronin’s SS variant a lot more appealing, especially considering that the next variant in the line-up, the DS, is priced at ₹1.57 lakh.
The latest price drop for Ronin provides it an advantage over its competitor Royal Enfield Hunter whose base model is ₹15,000 costlier than that of Ronin. Hunter’s base model cost is approximately ₹1.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
Standard features and specifications of TVS Ronin
The TVS Ronin is powered by an air/oil-cooled, 225.9cc, single-cylinder motor that makes 20.4hp at 7,750rpm and 19.93Nm of torque at 3,750rpm with the claimed mileage of 42 kmpl. Adding to this motor is a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and 14-litre fuel tank. Even the base SS variant comes with features such as a fully digital display, all-LED lighting, adjustable brake and clutch levers and a USD fork.
TVS Ronin is a cruiser bike available in 7 colours. The bike is available in single-tone, dual-tone, and triple-tone paint schemes. The Ronin is also available in a range-topping special edition version that gets a unique colour and comes fitted with accessories such as a visor, USB charger, and FI covers, as per the bikewale.
This is not the first time when TVS has slashed the prices of its two-wheeler. Recently the automaker had cut the cost of its bike Raider by ₹10,000.
