New Delhi: TVS Motor Company today launched the updated Apache 160 and Apache 180 in India. Both bikes were offered in five color options – Pearl White (*new), T Grey, Gloss Black (*new), Racing Red and Matte Blue.
The new 2022 TVS Apache 160 is available in three variants – Disc with SmartXonnect, Disc with Drive Modes and Drum with Drive Modes – priced at Rs 1,24,590, Rs 1,21,290 and Rs 1,17,790 respectively.

The new 2022 TVS Apache 180 is available in a single disc variant with drive modes and SmartXonnect priced at Rs 1,30,590. All prices above are ex-showroom. Both bikes have a higher power-to-weight ratio than before. While the new Apache RTR 160 is lighter by 2 kg, the updated Apache RTR 180 is reduced by 1 kg.
The company says the new 2022 TVS Apache 160 and Apache 180 offer several new features including the TVS SmartXonnect system with Bluetooth connectivity for turn-by-turn navigation. The bikes come with three riding modes namely – Rain, Urban and Sport.
Rain mode is said to provide linear acceleration and tuned braking for wet conditions along with a comfortable driving experience. While Urban mode offers linear acceleration, good braking and a comfortable ride, Sport mode ensures sharper acceleration, better braking and higher top speeds.

Talking about the design changes, the new TVS Apache 160 and Apache 180 come with a new LED headlamp and tail lamp with a new signature 3D element. Both models were equipped with the first voice assistance system in the segment.
There is a fully digital instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity and SmartXonnect technology. It features turn-by-turn navigation, shift indicator, shift assist, race telemetry, lap timing mode, cluster intensity control and a collision warning system.
For power, the Apache 160 uses a new 160cc 2V single-cylinder engine that churns out 16.04PS at 8,750rpm and 13.85Nm at 7,000rpm.
