With the auto expo underway several new launches and reveals have taken place. TVS Jupiter CNG is one such revelation that has been showcased at the Auto Expo in 2025.

While there has already been a CNG powered bike this would be a new addition to the two wheeler market in India. The Jupiter CNG would be visually identical to the 125 cc version from the appearance. But underneath the scooter is powered by CNG.

TVS Jupiter CNG Specs and Features

TVS Jupiter CNG The scooter can run on both CNG and petrol. The CNG Jupiter would have 1.4 kg CNG tank with a small 2 litre petrol tank as well. As per TVS the scooter would reach a range of 226 km with a mileage of 84 km/kg. The scooter has a led headlight USB charger as well as a stand cut off.

The Bike would have a 125 cc engine churning out 9.4 nm of torque and around 8 horse power. Along with smart features such as LED headlamps, Bluetooth connectivity as well as other functionalities as well. The scooter would be brought to sale for the customers this year.

Freedom 125 CNG Powered Bike

Bajaj has been synonymous with easy and affordable mobility for the people. Following the same ideology the brand has been able to bring a new innovative product that would provide you with the most ultimate mileage per liter. The Bajaj Freedom 125 has both a petrol as well as a 2 kilo CNG tank. The bike being powered by a 125cc engine the bike offers a peak power output of around 9.5 ps @8000 rpm with a peak torque of around 9.7 nm. On 1 kilo of CNG the bike can provide a mileage of 65 km per liter. Beyond that the bike has been thoroughly tested for safety so buyers do not have to worry about riding a vehicle with CNG. The Freedom 125 is available as of now at Rs-1,10,000.

Expected Pricing

The Jupiter 125 is as if now priced at 88,174 to 99,015 depending upon the variants. Considering the engineering that TVS must have included in the manufacturing of the new machine its possible that the new scooter might be launched in between the pricing of the normal variants. The CNG variant could be priced around 90,000 to 99,000- which is the top model price. While the CNG addition to a bike has been successful in the bike version as seen with the Bajaj freedom 125, but in the scooter version the CNG tank takes up all the space of the boot. Would the customers choose range over convenience? only time would tell.
