TVS iQube New Variants Explained: ST 17 Boasts Largest 5.1 kWh Battery And More

TVS has expanded its iQube electric scooter lineup with new budget-friendly base variant starting at Rs 94,999 and a top-of-the-line ST 17 variant with a segment-leading 5.1 kWh battery for Rs 1.85 lakh. Both base and top variants offer new features and the ST variants boast a larger display, Alexa integration, and more.

Heating up the electric scooter segment, TVS has introduced a new base and top variants of the TVS iQube. The base variant now costs Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 1.85 lakh for iQube ST 17. The ST 17 packs a 5.1 kWh battery, the largest on any Indian electric scooter. Here is all you need to know about the newly launched variants of the iQube ST.

TVS iQube Electric Scooter: New Variants 

The variants of the TVS iQube include the iQube 09, iQube 12, iQube S, iQube ST 12 and iQube ST 17. The TVS iQube ST is the same variant that was announced during the launch but did not arrive due to some factors that delayed its introduction to the market. So, the standard ‘iQube’ is now the base trim with two variants – iQube 09 and iQube 12. Furthermore, the iQube S is no longer the top-spec trim now but a mid-spec single variant.  The iQube ST has now been launched in two variants – iQube ST 12 and iQube ST 17.

The base iQube 09 packs the smallest 2.2 kWh battery with a real-world range of 75 km, a top speed of 75 km/h a 2-hour charging time of 0-80%. iQube 12 now packs a larger 3.4 kWh battery. 

In terms of features, both scooters are decently equipped with amenities like a 5-inch TFT screen, turn-by-turn navigation, and tow and theft alerts.

TVS iQube Electric Scooter: New Variants Prices

The base TVS iQube 09 variant is priced at Rs 95,000 (ex-showroom). While, the lower-end iQube ST 12 shares the same 3.4 kWh battery with iQube 12 and iQube S, the iQube ST 17 boasts a larger 5.1 kWh pack, the largest one offered on any electric scooter in the country.

The iQube ST variants come with features like a larger 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, Alexa voice assistance, TPMS, digital document storage, and more. While the iQube ST 12 costs Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom), the Qube ST 17 gets a price tag of Rs 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom).

The iQube ST 17 vows a real-world range of 150km on a single charge, with an increased charging time of 4h 18m for 0-80% SOC and a top speed of 82 km/h, which is the fastest as compared to other variants.
