New Delhi: TVS Motor Company has launched the special edition Apache RTR 160 4V in the country. The model has been priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, making it Rs 9,000 and Rs 6,000 more expensive than the standard Disc and Disc Bluetooth variant, respectively.
The new special edition TVS Apache RTR 160 4V comes in a new Pearl White color scheme with contrasting red accents on the fuel tank and seat. The alloy wheels are also painted in red.
The new special edition TVS Apache RTR 160 4V also gets an updated ‘bullpup’ exhaust design. It has a beefier muffler said to be inspired by the Bullpup machine gun.
The company claims that the newly designed exhaust reduces the bike’s curb weight by 1kg and gives the exhaust a sportier tone. The special edition has adjustable levers as standard equipment. The bike also comes in Matte Black paint. No other changes were made to the special edition.

In further updates, the company plans to introduce a new electric scooter in the future. In fact, it has started testing a model that will likely be based on the Creon EV concept. Similar to the concept, the new TVS electric scooter may come with lithium-ion batteries and a 12kW electric motor.
