Triumph has been planning to increase their grasp in the Indian market with several new additions to their line up. In a recent leak a camouflaged bike that looked some what like the 400 Thruxton was seen being ridden by a test rider. The Thruxton 400 was seen being tested near Pune , when a automotive enthusiast caught a glimpse of the vehicle and shared it online.
As per the photos the test mule seems in the last stages of pre-production and ready for a launch early in January in 2025. In images its clearly evident that the car would have the same engine as the speed 400 and the scrambler 400x. The new fairing that extends from the tank as well as the headlight of the vehicle and gives the bike its trademark rustic café race style look that is profoundly captivating. Due to the fairing the brand has had to adjust a few things around in the front fascia of the bike, the indicators have been lowered as well.

Other additions that were witnessed were the addition of bar end mirrors, a single piece seat, and a upswept exhaust. The riding position of the rider has also been changed it has become evident that the vehicle would have clip on handle bars and rear mounted foot pegs. This would give the rider a much more commanding position on the machine.

The bike would be powered by the same engine that powers the existing Speed T, the single cylinder setup would provide the riders with enough grunt to drive easily on the highways without being a Gasoline Guzzler. Triumph is planning to grasp a bigger market segment with their newer models and compete closely with the likes of Royal Enfield as well as TVS and Honda.
Specs and Performance
The bike would have a tubular framed chassis just like the other vehicles in the line up. Beyond that the bike would have similar suspension capabilities, the front suspension of the vehicle would have 43mm USD forks and gas filled Monoshock suspension at the rear. Its possible that the suspension travel might be adjusted as per the over all stance of the newer Thruxton 400.
