Triumph Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X: The newly launched Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X has registered over 10,000 booking in India, within 10 days since it made their global debut, announced Triumph Motorcycles India.
The global debut of the Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X took place in London, marking an exciting milestone for these two motorcycles. Following the international launch, Triumph proceeded to introduce the Speed 400 in the Indian market.
To the delight of motorcycle enthusiasts, the Speed 400 was made available at an attractive introductory price of Rs 2.23 lakh, ex-showroom. This competitive pricing aims to capture the attention of riders seeking a thrilling and stylish two-wheeler option.
As for the Scrambler 400 X, its pricing details will be disclosed in October 2023, adding further anticipation and excitement for those interested in this adventure-oriented model.

According to Triumph Motorcycles India officials, the cumulative bookings for the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X have crossed the 10,000-unit mark. “One can still book these entry-level Triumphs online on the company’s official website for a refundable token amount of Rs 2,000.” they said.
“We will also ramp up the production of the motorcycles to meet the unprecedented demand for these 400cc motorcycles,” they informed.
Notably, the special introductory price of the Triumph Speed 400’s will be only valid for the first 10,000 bookings only, post which the company will surge the price to Rs 2.33 lakh, ex-showroom.
“Its test rides and deliveries will also begin soon. The prices of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X will be announced in October 2023,” Triumph Motorcycles India officials stated.

Both the Triumph Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are equipped with a newly developed TR-series 398.15cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine. This robust engine generates an impressive power output of 39.5 bhp at 8,000 RPM and a torque of 37.5 Nm at 6,500 RPM. The engine is paired with a smooth-shifting 6-speed manual gearbox, ensuring precise control over gear changes. Additionally, these motorcycles are equipped with a slip & assist clutch, which enhances the riding experience by providing a light and easy clutch operation while preventing wheel lock-up during aggressive downshifts. This combination of power, torque, and refined transmission system contributes to an exhilarating and dynamic performance on the road.
