Big-sized SUVs are creating quite a buzz in the market. Consequently, car manufacturers cannot keep calm and are eager to establish their presence in this segment. Toyota is no exception, as it gears up to introduce its new SUV, the Toyota Rush 2024.
The global market is abuzz with anticipation, although Toyota has yet to reveal the car’s price and launch date. It is expected to make its debut in 2024, marking an updated version of the vehicle. Notably, it might be introduced exclusively in India, having been previously available only in the global market.
This 4-cylinder powerhouse will go head-to-head with popular vehicles like the Maruti Ertiga, Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, and Scorpio. Under the hood, it boasts a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a 4-cylinder setup, ensuring impressive speed. The car will come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission, delivering robust on-road performance.
The Toyota Rush is a 7-seater SUV weighing in at 1300 Kg. Its dimensions include a length of 4435 mm, width of 1695 mm, and height of 1705 mm, all riding on a 2685 mm wheelbase. This impressive wheelbase allows for agile maneuverability, even in tight spaces. The car features LED headlights and a spacious grill, adding to its attractive appearance.
Inside, you’ll find a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, digital display, and conveniently placed controls. It offers advanced amenities such as automatic climate control, push-button start, keyless entry, and a rear parking camera. Safety is a top priority, with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and Hill Start Assist for tackling mountainous terrain.
The Toyota Rush 2024 is a high-performance vehicle, delivering 104 PS power and 136 Nm torque on the road. An automatic transmission option is available for added convenience. While the official pricing is yet to be revealed, it’s estimated to start at around Rs 10 lakh ex-showroom.
This SUV will come in four variants: E, S, G, and V, offering LED headlamps, fog lights, LED tail lights, roof rails, shark fin antenna, and stylish 16-inch alloy wheels to cater to various preferences.
