New Delhi: Toyota has launched its first CNG car in the mid-size SUV segment. The company has announced the price of Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG. The company had entered the CNG category in November 2022. Toyota Hyrider with CNG avatar has been brought in two variants – G and S. The special thing is that the starting price is around 13 lakh rupees. Due to this competitive price, it can affect the sales of cars like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

What is the cost of which variant?

The company’s Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyrider CNG has been launched with two variants and only manual transmission. The price of its S variant has been kept at Rs 13,23,000 and the price of G variant has been kept at Rs 15,29,000.

How much mileage in CNG?

Toyota launched this SUV in July 2022. It was offered with a regular petrol engine and a petrol engine paired with a hybrid. According to the company, they have got a great response from the customers for this SUV. The CNG version of the Urban Cruiser Hyrider is powered by a 1.5-litre K-series engine. This engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. This SUV with CNG is going to offer a mileage of 26.6 KM/KG.

Such are the features

The G variant of the Urban Cruiser Highride gets features like full-LED headlamps, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, ambient lighting and side and curtain airbags. Let us tell you that Maruti’s Grand Vitara is also already available in CNG avatar. Its cost is Rs 12.85 lakh. Thus, Toyota’s Highride is costlier by Rs 38,000 than the Grand Vitara. Both these vehicles are going to compete with each other.
