Toyota Rumion: An SUV car that is generally liked by everyone, but not everyone can afford it due to its high price. However, Toyota has now come up with a solution. The company has made the Maruti Ertiga its competition in terms of price, giving a tough fight to the Innova hycross. As a result, the MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV 700, Isuzu D-Max, Tata Harrier, and Hyundai Alcazar are facing tough competition in this segment.
Featuring large alloy wheels and automatic transmission, the new car is named Toyota Rumion. Toyota has made preparations to launch this powerful SUV in India. It will be available in both manual and automatic options. To enhance its attractive appearance, the car will be equipped with large alloy wheels.

The car is expected to be a 7-seater and it marks the company’s fourth MPV car. It is speculated to be powered by a 1.5-liter petrol engine. This robust engine generates 103 hp power and 137 Nm torque. For safety, the car is likely to include features such as airbags, ABS, and Advanced Driving Assistant System (ADAS). ADAS enables the car to automatically detect the presence of any potential danger, vehicle, object, or person while on the road. It then alerts the driver, assisting in accident prevention. This technology operates using radar, cameras, and sensors.
In addition to the petrol version, Toyota Rumion is expected to have a CNG variant as well. Based on Maruti’s Ertiga, it is anticipated that the price of this car will be around 10 lakh INR (ex-showroom).
While this impressive car is currently being sold in the global market, the company has not yet disclosed the launch date and price for India. It is estimated that the car will be introduced to the market by September 2023. Toyota Rumion is a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) by the company. MPVs are known for their ability to accommodate more luggage and passengers. They typically come in five and seven-seater configurations.
