Toyota Raize: Japanese carmaker Toyota recently registered two trademarks in India – Raize and Raize Space. And despite the growing demand for compact SUVs in India, Toyota, which is known for its reliability, has not shown anything special in the segment till now. Thus, it is expected that the company is all set to release its new sub-4-meter (less than 4 meters long) Toyota Raize SUV.
Toyota already sells the Raize in Japan and other markets. Its initial pricing in Japan was 1,679,000 yen i.e. roughly Rs 11 lakh. This car is built by Daihatsu which is a division of Toyota.
Toyota Raize, which was launched in Japan as a compact SUV, comes with only one engine option. The length of this automobile is 3,995mm. Talking about the width, the width of this car is 1,695mm. The wheelbase of the automobile is 2525mm.

The automobile uses a 1.0 litre 1KR-VET turbocharged petrol engine. This motor delivers 96bhp power and 140Nm torque. This SUV has been offered with only one CVT option. Toyota has employed a 1.0L turbo engine for the first time with the D-CVT.

E-design and aesthetics have been utilised in Toyota Raize. The firm claims that this will make the car more fuel efficient.
Talking about the front profile of the car, a dual-tone black roof has been utilised. 17-inch alloy wheels have been put in the automobile.
The cabin of the car features an LED digital speedometer and a 7-inch TFT colour LCD display which is equipped with SmartDeviceLink and Apple CarPlay.

The dashboard of the car comes with horizontal lines. Adaptive cruise control and all speed tracking features are also available in the car.
Many smart assist safety features have also been offered in the car. Which incorporates a crash avoidance braking function.
