Continuing on the success of the previous year’s Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition, the brand is now in pursuit of replicating the same reception with the launch of the all-new 2025 Fortuner Leader Class Edition. The car has now been launched with premium enhancements, and the new edition further amplifies the Fortuner’s commanding road presence.
With the all-new SUV, Toyota seeks to provide users with unmatched performance combined with contemporary styling. The new Leader Edition will offer unmatched off-road capability and exceptional ride comfort, powered by a 2.8L diesel engine. The 2025 Fortuner Leader Class will be available in 4×2 automatic and manual transmission variants in Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver colour options.
New Add-ons and Styling Elements
The car will now be equipped with a host of styling feature upgrades such as a new grille design, front and rear bumper spoilers, and chrome garnish. Beyond that, the Fortuner will also be available with a dual-tone roof. These features will continue with the glossy black alloy wheels and a distinctive hood emblem that will help the SUV stand apart.
The interior will have black and maroon dual-tone seats and door trims that exude sophistication. Beyond that, the Leader Class will now also have auto-folding mirrors, illuminated scuff plates, and advanced features such as a tyre pressure monitoring system. Every detail of the new vehicle has been crafted to elevate the driving experience while retaining the Fortuner’s hallmark for reliability and comfort.
Performance and Specs
The all-new Leader Class SUV will be offered with a 1GD-FTV 2.8-litre turbocharged engine, equipped with a variable geometry turbocharger for superior performance and efficiency. The engine will help the car deliver 201 bhp of power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The engine is then paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, ensuring smooth power delivery and enhanced driving comfort. The Leader Class will continue with the RWD 4×2 configuration. The new Fortuner Leader Edition strikes a fine balance between commanding performance and everyday drivability, making it a versatile companion for diverse road conditions.
