New Delhi: Toyota vehicles are known for good after sale service and reliability. Toyota’s Fortuner and Innova are two such vehicles which are considered as status symbols. But giving a big blow to the fans, the company stopped booking the diesel variants of Toyota Innova Crysta. You can no longer book this car online. However, the petrol model of the Innova is still available for booking. At the moment it is not clear whether the booking has been put on hold for a few days or it has been closed on a status basis.

2.4 liter diesel engine

Let us know that Toyota Innova Crysta MPV comes in two engine options. It gets 2.4 liter diesel engine (150PS/360Nm) and 2.7 liter petrol engine (166PS). Both the engines get options of 5 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine is very much liked by the customers who buy Innova due to the good mileage.

What is the price

Talking about the price, the price of Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel starts from Rs 18.90 Lakh and goes up to Rs 26.54 Lakh. At the same time, the price of petrol variants ranges from Rs 17.45 lakh to Rs 23.83 lakh. There is no direct competition, but the Kia Carnival, Kia Carnival, Mahindra XUV700 and Hyundai Alcazar are seen in competition.

Is the new Innova coming?

It is being claimed in many reports that Toyota is working on the new generation Innova. It can be brought with a petrol-hybrid powertrain. It may be because of this that the diesel variant is being phased out. Innova Crysta is being sold since 2016. This year it got a mid-cycle facelift. At present, a major update is being awaited in this.
