Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep has confirmed that the 5th generation Grand Cherokee SUV will go on sale in the country in November 2022. It will be the 4th Jeep model to be produced locally at the company’s Ranjangaon plant near Pune. While the global model is available in 5 and 7-seater variants, the Indian model will be a 5-seater variant.

The new Grand Cherokee will come with a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a complete connectivity package with 24×7 dedicated assistance and a host of premium features. The new Grand Cherokee is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

It will come with a four-wheel drive system with selectable off-road modes – Auto, Sport, Mud/Sand and Snow. The new SUV will take on the likes of the Mercedes GLE, BMW X5 and Land Rover Discovery.

Toyota Innova Hycross MPV

The much-anticipated next generation MPV Innova Hycross will make its global debut in Indonesia in November 2022. The new model will be launched in our market in the first quarter of 2023.

The company released a new teaser showing the front end styling of the new 3-row MPV. It shares styling cues from global Toyota models including the Corolla Cross SUV. The Indonesian model is likely to be called the Toyota Innova Zenix.

Bengaluru-based startup Pravaig has officially announced that it will launch an all-electric SUV on November 25, 2022. The company claims that the electric SUV will offer a range of over 500 km on a single charge. It will have a maximum speed of over 200 km/h.

The SUV will also support fast charging which will enable fast charging. The SUV is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. With fast charging, the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. The company has not released any details about the battery. We expect it to get a battery around 70-80 kWh.
