New Delhi: If there was one feature that was a must for sports cars, it would most certainly have to be speed. While sports cars are becoming hugely popular in India, their true power often remains untested as most of the country’s roads are poorly maintained and could cause serious damage to both the vehicle and the driver inside.

Still, there are a number of sports cars available in India in case people are interested in them. Today, manufacturers across the country sell cars that offer looks, performance, and most of all, speed. Here are the 10 fastest cars you can buy in India in 2020.

Lamborghini Aventador

The Aventador is definitely one of the most driven cars from Lamborghini in 2019, it is elegant, stylish and extremely powerful. All this power comes from a 6.5-liter V12 petrol engine that sits under the hood and offers a top speed of 351 km/h. The transmission on offer is a 7-speed automatic transmission that can accelerate the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds.

The Aventador is available in three different variants including S, S Roadster and SVJ mode which brings the most power to the table.

In terms of appearance, the Aventador features a slim bumper and grille on the front, while the elongated LED headlights give the car a sleek look. Two air baffles are located below the headlights to help keep the massive engine cool, while the large side vents offer excellent cooling and aerodynamic properties.

The car has suicide doors for a two-seater vehicle and a 110 liter luggage compartment. At the rear, the Aventador features the same taillights found on all Lamborghini models, while the rear bumper and centrally located exhaust give the car a sharper, sportier look.

Ferrari 812 Superfast

The Ferrari 812 Superfast was launched in India as the most expensive model in the country and currently costs 5.2 million. It is the successor to the F12 Berlinetta and is considered one of the brand’s most powerful cars.

The 812 Superfast is equipped with a naturally aspirated 6.5 liter V12 petrol engine and can reach a top speed of 340 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.

The engine is mated to an F1 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and features the brand’s Slip Slide Control technology for superior traction and control when driving at high speeds.

Other features of the 812 Superfast include anti-lock braking system, driver and passenger airbags, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, voice control and adjustable seats.
