BYD has launched another competitor in the Indian market with the new Atto 3, the Chinese manufacturer in India. The SUV was launched in the market in India first at 2022, The SUV was then updated globally with new design and tech. The update had been finalized last year with BYD’s latest tech and design , the Indian version has been updated now. Here are the features that have been updated on the new car.
BYD Atto 3 – Design Changes
The new update that has been finalized for the new car gives the car a new more plusher look. The front grill has been featured along with new headlights. Beyond that the bike would have a chrome bar connecting to the updated car. The car would have a roof spoiler with dual airbrake lights on the rear. The car would now have a 15.6 inch infotainment screen. Which has been seen in the other BYD model such as the Seal and the Sealion 7. Other features would include a panoramic sunroof , a 360 degree holographic imaging system as well.
BYD Atto Safety
Beyond the cosmetic changes the car has also been provided with new safety features such as the ADAS add one’s. THe system would consist of new cameras that have been fitted across the car in different places. These involve a three cameras located below the windshield together and four other surround view cameras. There is a comprehensive list of safety features and add on’ s that have been added to the car. These would involve 12 ultrasonic radars and 29 sensors. The system is further named God’s eye -C driving assistance system in BYD.
BYD Atto 3 Specs
Apart from the new features and gadgets the car has not changed much mechanically. It would most probably be powered by the same battery and motor. The battery that powers the vehicle was a 60.5 KWH LFP battery that promises a driving range of around 420km/ the lower variants in the car line up are powered by a 49.9 KWH battery pack this battery pack promises a range of about 345 km on a single charge.
