Kia would soon be launching the new facelift variant of the MPV. Beyond a new facelift for the Carens KIA would also bring in a new Carens EV soon. The test mule of the Carens has been spotted a few times.
While KIA has not revealed any details about the launch as of now, but its possible that the new vehicles might be launched soon in the recent future. Its possible that KIA might bring in the new vehicle in ahead of the festive season.
What’s New With The KIA Carens
The KIA Carens has been a formidable part of the KIA line up in India. The Carens was up for a midlife refresh which would seemingly involve changes to the front fascia as well as other sides of the car.
The car would get new LED headlights that could possibly run along the breadth of the vehicle just like the new Hyundai Venue and Verna. Beyond that the top variant of the new vehicle could possibly be provided with Level 2 ADAS features , a 360 degree camera , a premium sound system and a few other changes. Its possible that the new iteration might offer some features that had been seen on the Syros.
New Engines
The new vehicle would possibly have three powertrain options such as a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.5 litre turbo petrol engine. Its possible that KIA might bring a 1.5 lire diesel as well.
While KIA has been keeping most of the changes under wraps, but as per rumor’s the manufacturer would give the car a new closed grill along with new rim design changes that are unlike any other car in the KIA line up. One the facelift is launched its possible that KIA would soon launch a EV version of the vehicle as well. The 1.5 Litre Na petrol would offer you 113 BHP and a peak torque of around 114nm and the 1.5 litre Turbo Petrol would offer a performance of 158 Bhp along with a peak torque of 253 Nm.
