The plan to set up a factory in India with a yearly capacity of 5 lakh EV cars is gaining momentum. Price of the Telsa car could be start from Rs 20Lakh, according to the media report.

According to the latest report, the Company is looking to turn India into an export base to serve markets in the Indo-Pacific region after China.

Indian government of the company has now started talks on this issue. According to media reports, Tesla is manufacturing its cars in China, but now it is looking at India as a better base for exports.

At present, the company has not yet given any information about which powertrain, model and price of its car it will introduce in the Indian market.

It is estimated that considering the demand of the Indian market, the company may introduce the mid-segment car first. Let us tell you that the starting price of Tesla EV cars in the US market is $ 43,390 (about Rs 35 lakh). While it will launch the car in the Indian market with an initial price of Rs 20 lakh. That is, compared to America, the car will be available here 15 lakh rupees cheaper. However, the company has not yet given any official statement regarding this.
