New Delhi: Tata Motors is going to launch India’s most affordable electric car Tata Tiago EV. This vehicle will be brought on 28 September. This will be the electric version of the company’s popular hatchback car Tiago. This will be the third electric car from Tata Motors. Before launching, the company is disclosing its features one by one. The company has already told that it will get features like cruise control and one pedal drive technology. Now some other features of this vehicle have also been revealed.

Will get fast charging

Tata Motors said that the Tiago EV will support fast charging technology. The Tiago EV is likely to get a 26kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is also used in the Tigor EV. The battery in Tigor EV can be charged up to 80 percent in about an hour through DC fast charger. The Tiago EV is believed to offer a range of around 300 kms on a single charge.

Tata Motors has also confirmed that the Tiago EV will come with connected car technology. It will be equipped with the company’s ZConnect technology, which is also found in other Tata electric vehicles. This smartwatch also supports connectivity. Tata said that the Tiago EV will come with premium leather seats.

Tiago EV will be able to run on one leg

The Tata Tiago EV is expected to feature one pedal drive technology. The One Pedal Drive feature makes use of strong regenerative braking. Actually this feature allows you to drive the car with one foot. As soon as you take your foot off the race pedal, the vehicle automatically brakes and starts charging the battery.
