Tata Tiago EV: If you are planning to buy an electric car, then Tata Tiago EV can be a better option for you. The company has recently launched this electric car in India. The Tata Tiago comes equipped with a great range and powerful features. The company has also kept its price in the budget. Know here everything about Tata EV in detail.

Tiago EV Price

Tata has introduced the Tiago EV in four variants in India. These include the XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. models are included. Its price has been kept from Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom). You can buy this electric hatchback in a total of five – Signature Teal Blue, Daytona Grey, Tropical Mist, Pristine White and Midnight Plum color options.

Features

It gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers with four tweeters. Along with this, the car also has features like auto AC. It also gets rain-sensing wipers, steering mounted controls and cruise control. In terms of safety, it gets dual front airbags, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ABS with EBD and a rear-view camera.

Battery and range

The Tiago EV is offered in two battery pack options – 19.2kWh and 24kWh. With these battery packs, the electric hatchback offers a range of 250km to 315km. The company offers four charging options to charge the battery. This includes a 15A socket charger, 3.3kW AC charger, 7.2kW AC charger and a DC fast charger.

Charging duration

15A socket charger: 6.9 hours (19.2kWh), 8.7 hours (24kWh)

3.3kW AC charger: 5.1 hours (19.2kWh), 6.4 hours (24kWh)

7.2kW AC charger: 2.6 hours (19.2kWh), 3.6 hours (24kWh)

DC Fast Charger: It charges both the batteries from 10-80% in 57 minutes
