The Tata Sierra has been the innovative new peek into what the future holds for Tata, The Car had been showcased at the recent Bharat Mobility Expo and beyond that at the last year’s expo as well. But for the First Time The car has been spotted testing on road by Auto car magazine.
Thanks to its significant silhouette, the Sierra was witnessed being tested under a heavy camouflage and is set to go on sale by the end of this year.
New Spy Shots Reveal
the spotted variant was probably the ICE version of the car as the spotters were able to witness air intakes necessary for the car. , the EV Sierra would probably have a completely sealed off front intake. While the car was under heavy camouflage the new front fascia design ad the twin headlight layout was still visible. the test mule that was spotted was also riding on 19 inch alloys on top rims. The car that was showcased at the Bharat Mobility expo was almost production spec and the new launched variants would not be much different than that.
No Peeks of the Interior
While the vehicle was spotted the spotters could not get a peek into the interior of the vehicle. the variant that was showcased at the Bharat mobility expo showcased that the vehicle would have triple screen layout with a four spoke steering wheel.
Tata Sierra Engine Options
Tata ha not yet delineated anything about the powertrain of the engine, but the car is expected to be powered by a 1.5 litre Turbo petrol engine options making about 170 hp and a peak torque 280nm. Beyond that the car would also be powered with a 2.0 litre diesel options as well. The latter is the same unit that has been a part of the other cars such as the harrier and Safari as well. The Car would launch along the EV version of the Sierra. The Car would directly go against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Grand Vitara.
