Tata set to disrupt market again with three new cars after Sierra, check their names and other details here

Announcing the EV milestone, Tata also confirmed that it will soon be launching three new electric models in 2026, including the Sierra EV, the updated Punch EV and the Avinya EV. The Sierra EV and Punch EV will launch in the first half of 2026. The brand also detailed that the premium Avinya range will be introduced in the second half of the year.

Premium Tata Avinya EV

The Avinya range will soon be Tata’s new premium product portfolio, based on Gen 3 born electric architecture. We had seen the Avinya concept up close at the India Mobility Show, which showcased a futuristic design language and minimalist carbon theme. Key design elements include a unique grille, full-width LED light bar, slim headlamps, a slim screen integrated into the dashboard, a new steering wheel with a built-in screen and sustainable materials.

New features

The all-new Avinya is expected to feature advanced technologies such as next-gen ADAS, OTA updates, ultra-fast charging, a battery management system and an integrated propulsion system. Its driving range could exceed 500 km per charge, and the battery can be charged in less than 30 minutes.

Tata Sierra EV

The Sierra EV as well as the updated Punch EV will launch in the first half of 2026. The electric version of the Sierra is expected to share its platform and powertrain with the Harrier EV. Design and features won’t change significantly, but the new EV version might receive some improvements over the previous versions.

New Tata Punch EV facelift

The Punch EV is expected to feature minor design changes and feature upgrades in 2026, while retaining the existing powertrain options. It’s rumoured that the updated model could get the same 45 kWh battery pack as the Nexon EV, which offers an ARAI range of 489 km on a full charge.
