The testing spanned a distance of 395 kilometers, covering a mix of city and highway driving conditions. The results showed that the Tata Safari Diesel Automatic achieved an average fuel efficiency of 12.4 kmpl. This figure, while slightly lower than the ARAI-certified mileage, is still impressive for a vehicle of its size and category, highlighting its efficiency and practicality for daily use and long journeys.

The Tata Safari features a 50-litre fuel tank. Based on real-world fuel efficiency, this capacity translates to an approximate driving range of around 620 kilometers on a full tank. This estimation provides potential owners with a realistic expectation of the vehicle’s capabilities on longer trips, balancing performance and fuel consumption effectively.
