New Delhi: Tata Motors has launched the Tata Safari 2023 and the Tata Harrier 2023 in India on Tuesday. The automaker company has made significant changes to both SUVs so it can emerge as a tough competition to its rival cars.
The new Tata duo is SUVs’ facelift models. As opined by industry experts, their design language is quite similar with that of Tata Nexon 2023.

The 2023 Tata Safari facelift has been launched with a starting price of Rs 16.19 lakh (ex-showroom) whereas Tata Harrier facelift prices start at Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Safari 2023 and Tata Harrier 2023 have achieved a 5-star safety rating in the adult and child protection category at Global NCAP. Safari and Harrier have achieved the highest overall NCAP score among Indian vehicles for safety for adults and children.

The engine and transmission were carried over from before. This is the same 2.0 liter Kryotec diesel engine (maximum power 170 horsepower and maximum torque 350 Nm) with 6-speed MT and 6-speed AT transmission options.

Tata has made many updates to the exterior design of the Safari and Harrier. If you look at these SUVs from the front or rear, they have nothing similar to the pre-facelift versions. Both SUVs get a new grille.
Newly designed LED headlights integrate sequential LED turn signals. There are new LED tail lights. The alloy wheels have also been redesigned.

In addition to all the variants mentioned above, the Safari facelift and Harrier facelift will also get Dark Edition variants. Even the pre-facelift Safari and Harrier had all-black Dark Edition variants.
