New Delhi: Tata Motors has increased the prices of its best selling SUV in India, the Nexon. After the new increase in its prices, the price of 9 variants of Tata Nexon has increased by Rs 18,000. At the same time, the price of its remaining variants has increased by Rs 10,000.
Apart from the price hike, the company has also revised the variants of the Nexon. Currently, the Tata Nexon SUV is available in a total of 68 variants, including 37 petrol and 31 diesel variants. The company has removed the XZ, XZA, XZ+ (O), XZA+ (O), XZ+ (O) Dark and XZA+ (O) Dark variants from the SUV model lineup. The Nexon, on the other hand, gets 6 new variants namely XZ+ (HS), XZ+ (L), XZ+ (P), XZA+ (HS), XZA (L) and XZA+ (P).
Features of new variants of Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon ZXA+ (L) and ZXA+ (P) variants get features like iRA connectivity, remote vehicle control via smartphone, vehicle live location, trip analytics, live vehicle diagnostics, geo fence and valet mode. The ZXA+ (L) and ZXA+ (P) variants come with wireless charging and ventilated leather seats for the driver and front passenger. ZXA+ (HS) lacks these features. However, the ZXA+ (HS) and ZXA+ (P) get an electric sunroof with tilt function.
Tata Nexon engine and power
The powertrain system of the Tata Nexon includes two engine options. One of these is the 1199cc 1.2L turbo petrol engine, which generates 120PS of power and 170Nm of peak torque. There is another 1497cc 1.5L turbo diesel engine, which gives peak torque of 260Nm and power of 100PS. With this, the option of 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox is available. Its ground clearance is 209mm. Its ARAI certified mileage is up to 22.07 kmpl.
Tata Nexon new price
The Tata Nexon model lineup is priced between Rs 7.69 lakh to Rs 14.17 lakh. Its petrol variant now costs Rs 7.69 lakh to Rs 12.87 lakh. Whereas, the price of its diesel model ranges between Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 14.17 lakh. Keep in mind that all these prices are according to the ex-showroom.
