Tata has been developing the all new harrier EV for some time. The vehicle has been spotted testing couple of times before as well. On one of the sightings the Harrier was seen testing on a test track in Chennai. There have been a few reports that have allegedly revealed the prospects of the car would be a EV with a rear axle mounted motor as well. This would give the car a better off-roading prowess as well.
New Tata Harries EV Spotted
The EV version of the Harrier was spotted earlier as well. In a recent post on Instagram by Motorworldindia, the vehicle was seen in a white shade with a sealed off grill and a black tine roof as well. The EV appeared production ready and was without any camouflage at this sighting. The interiors could not be seen, but the free standing screen on the dashboard could be seen with ease.
Features
As per the features that were seen on the Baharat expo sighting the car would have electronically adjusted seats, with ventilation on both the rows. Beyond that the car would have 12.3 inch infotainment screen. Beyond that the car would have a features like Apple Car Play, panoramic Sunroof as well as premium upholstery. The car would have a level 2 ADAS safety features as well.
Beyond the said tech specs the car would have to deliver a range of around 500 km so that it can compete with the likes of E-Vitara as well as Hyundai Creta electric. A few variants in the while line up would get AWD setup.
