New Delhi: Tata Motors unveiled the electric concept version of its popular SUV Tata Harrier at the Auto Expo in January 2023, indicating that work is underway on this model and it will be transformed into reality in the near future. The company has now revealed the new images of its electric SUV on its social media platforms to gauge people’s response.
The electric SUV Tata Harrier, showcased at the Auto Expo, featured a white paint scheme with contrasting black elements. However, Tata has now revealed that it will come with a dual-tone bronze and white theme. In addition, the SUV is equipped with a full-width running LED bar, split headlights, and an enclosed grille.
Although this electric version of the Harrier SUV still looks similar to its concept version, further changes can be made for its production variant. The modifications made for the electric SUV from the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) version of the Harrier will pave the way for the facelift variant.
According to the information provided by the company, at the time of its debut, this SUV will be equipped with dual electric motors and an all-wheel-drive configuration. The company has also revealed that the SUV will feature Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle charging capabilities, but Tata Motors has not disclosed its specifications. However, it is expected that this SUV will offer a real-world range of approximately 400-500 kilometers, allowing it to directly compete with the upcoming electric version of the Mahindra XUV700.
