Tata Harrier EV Battery Specs Revealed- New Harrier EV Range And Features Disclosed

Tata has been planning to launch an all new electric SUV that would have AWD along with an extended range that would extend about 500 km. The Harrier EV has been one of the most anticipated vehicles in the market, a series of rumor’s have revealed that the new car would have riding modes along with a few more added features. earlier on it was revealed that the car would have Harrier EV would possibly have a 60KWH battery pack and would offer a range of about 500km.

As per a recent scoop that has been shared a user named TusharK on Team- Bhp the new Harrier EV would have a 75 KW battery pack, the car would have a dual motor setup for an AWD configuration. As per the scoop that has been shared it has become evident that the vehicle is under production and would possibly be launched soon. The Empowered trim would have the AWD configuration. The leaks have been confirmed by a team bhp user on the basis of anonymity and shared by Tushar K.

The Overall design of the harrier EV would be similar to the EV Version. Both the EV version as well as ICE would have the same bodyshell albeit with minor changes to the front fascia. The car would have a blacked out front grille and wheels that have bene optimized for lower drag. The vehicle would have the Vehicle to load tech as well as vehicle to vehicle charging capabilities.

Recent Spotting of the New Harrier EV

The New Harrier would go against the likes of Mahindra Xev 9e and would be probably priced aggressively to be able to gain a stake in the market. The vehicle marks a paradigm shift in the overall genesis of the electric vehicles in India. As this could be one of the first vehicles to be offered with a twin motor setup. While the overall specs of the vehicle have not been revealed as of yet its possible that the vehicle might have a torque of around 500 nm. To be capable of carrying around the massive weight of the battery pack as well as the rear mounted motor for AWD.

Earlier Harrier EV Spotting On The Race Track

The Harrier is not exactly the vehicle that belongs on a race track, often such cars are witnessed while being tested on the highways. But the new EV version of the Tata Harrier EV would possibly have a AWD system that would give it a lot more performance credentials than the outgoing model.

As per speculations the car would be able to go against the likes of XEV9e which boasts a performance spec of around 268 PS and 380 NM of Torque. The XEV 9 only has a single motor that powers the rear wheels.

Along with a powerful dual motor setup the vehicle would be provided with a sophisticated multilink suspension in the rear along with a MacPherson Strutt in the front. Tata has imagined to provide the market with a vehicle like no other. Asper the speculated news it has also been established that the vehicle would have new sophisticated terrain response system with upto six modes this time around.

New Terrain Response system and Modes

The vehicle would have new rotary dial to choose between different terrain response systems and other modes that would allow the vehicle the easily drive along some of the most toughest terrains. The vehicle would have modes such as Normal, Snow, Mud&Ruts and Sand and Desert.
