Tata’s Intention Behind Vehicle To Load Tech
Manufacturers often try to maximize the usability of their vehicles for users, Vehicle To load tech has been one such feature. While the aim behind would have been to provide the vehicle with the feature to charge other vehicles as well, as of now its is being used to cook pakoda’s and Gajar Halwa in India.
Vehicle to load Limits
Often V2L feature has a limit, exceeding the limit can cause issues for the vehicles. The useable limit of the KIA V2l was around 16A only exceeding this limit can cause teh vehicle significant damage.
Tata’s V2L Usability limit
To ensure that such uses do not hamper the performance of the vehicle. Manufacturers equip the vehicles with a failsafe limit that allows the vehicle to continually provide for the V2l use only until the battery capacity reaches 20%. After 20% the V2L cuts off and does not provide any current to outside appliances.
