Tata Motors has been planning to scale up its operations in the premium hatchback segment with the upcoming Tata Altroz. The leaks have confirmed the presence of a i-CNG dual cylinder layout and beyond that the leaked materials have also showcased the presence of a 1.5L Revotorq Diesel Engine- India’s only Diesel Hatchback. The presence of diesel as well as CNG would definitely help the Altroz gain formidable sales in the Indian market.
New Features
The leaks further revealed that the car would be equipped with a 8 speaker Harman Audio system, 6 airbags, and ESP as standard. The car would have, 5 star crash rated Alfa-arc body shell that ensure that the car has enhanced rear legroom and boot capacity.
The leaks showcased the safe body shell that the car would be based on and beyond that these also showcased the safety features the new Altroz would be launched with. Safety features would include 6 airbags and ESP as standard.
Tata Altroz New Front Fascia
The new Tata Altroz has been given a new front fascia with bold sculpted lines and a 3D front grille. Tata has also given it new LED headlamps with infinity-connected LED taillamps. A feature that stood out amongst others was the flush door handles. Often a part of many luxurious vehicles and being first seen on the likes of Nissan R35 GT-R, Aston Martin DB11 and the XUV 700 the flush door handles would be a segment first for hatchback variants. Further the aesthetic of the car has been enriched thanks to connected taillamps at the rear.
Changes To The Cabin of The Vehicle
Enhanced comfort, richer materials and new tech features ensure that the Altroz offers the user a invigorating drive along with a comfortable experience. The car would have a new grand Prestagia dashboard, with twin HD screens and plenty of other new features that would be revealed in due time. Interested buyers would be able to avail the vehicle in Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue and Pristine White Colors.
The car would be available in 5 Trim levels namely the Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S and Accomplished+ S. Prices of the new Altroz Would be revealed later on 22nd of May.
