Vibrant variants
The Tata Altroz DCA gets a total of seven variants with the XM+, XT, XZ, XZ(O), and XZ+ being the two Dark Edition models. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol in the car produces 110 PS of power and 140 Nm of peak torque. Whereas, the 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of peak torque.
Automatic gearbox
Automatic gearbox is available in DCA. Due to which gearshifting is very smooth. In automatic mode, you do not see on the screen which gear the vehicle is in. Only D is visible there. This gearbox is also known as DCT. The car is available in the market at a starting price of Rs 8.1 lakh ex-showroom.
Self-healing mechanism
The dual clutch transmission is a 6-speed unit. It is more comfortable to drive than a manual transmission. It gets features like wet clutch with active cooling technology, machine learning, shift by wire technology, self-healing mechanism and auto park lock. In fact, its self-healing mechanism protects the transmission from damage caused by dust particles through an automatic vibration system.
Automatic Safety
The car’s Auto Park Lock feature automatically applies the parking brake when the driver forgets to exit the vehicle. It is equipped with machine learning software, which optimizes transmission behavior based on its diagnostics and other parameters. Whereas, the wet clutch monitors the oil temperature in the system 100 times per second.
Features
It gets 16-inch dual tone alloy wheels and rear door handles mounted on the C-pillar. All four doors open 90 degrees, making it easy for you to get in and out of the vehicle. The rear gets wraparound LED taillights, a large black insert for the tailgate, integrated spoiler, rear wiper and washer.
