Across the country, Ola EVs are receiving mixed reactions from consumers. Notably, stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who previously mocked Ola’s CEO regarding the refund policy, has now made new allegations against him in a recent case.
The exchange between the comedian and Ola CEO Bhavish regarding EV scooters reignited on Sunday. Kamra pointed out the company’s alleged inability to resolve issues with its scooters and refund its customers.
Ola’s Refund Transparency Called Out By Kamra
In a new post on X, Kunal Kamra tagged Bhavish Aggarwal, saying, “Ola Electric hasn’t disclosed any plans for refunds or addressed current customer complaints. We don’t even know if a plan exists. My only suggestion to @bhash is to publicly share a strategy that doesn’t involve hiring me.”
Ola electric hasn’t disclosed any plan to issue refunds or put an end date to current customer complaints. We don’t even know
If there is a plan…
All I can do is Let @bhash know that he has to put out a public plan which doesn’t include employing me.---Advertisement---— Kunal Kamra (@kunalkamra88) October 17, 2024
Kamra Reacts also reacts to Claims of Ola Hiring Bouncers for Service Centers “Can a journalist please fact-check this? If true, this is quite unique—sales teams for sales and bouncers for after-sales.”

What Is The Digital Quarreling About- Electric Scooty Showdown
It all kicked off earlier this month when Kunal Kamra decided to tag Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and the Department of Consumer Affairs, asking everyone to spill their tea about Ola scooters. He shared a photo of a bunch of EV scooters parked outside an Ola showroom and quipped, “Do Indian consumers even have a voice? Do they deserve this? For many daily wage workers, these two-wheelers are like lifelines! @nitin_gadkari, is this how we’re rolling into the EV future? @jagograhakjago, any updates? If you’ve had an Ola electric experience, drop your story below and don’t forget to tag everyone!”
Since you care so much @kunalkamra88, come and help us out! I’ll even pay more than you earned for this paid tweet or from your failed comedy career.
Or else sit quiet and let us focus on fixing the issues for the real customers. We’re expanding service network fast and backlogs… https://t.co/ZQ4nmqjx5q
