Suzuki has added another feather to its illustrious line-up with the all-new Victoris, further strengthening its already extensive SUV portfolio. While the Hyundai Creta has long been a significant player in the segment, the new Victoris will take on rivals like the Honda Elevate, Kia Sonet, and, of course, the Creta itself.
The SUV is slightly longer than the Grand Vitara. To ensure high-class safety, Suzuki has confirmed that the Victoris has already achieved a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. Bookings have commenced, and customers can reserve the Victoris for a token amount of ₹11,000.
What Helps the Victoris Stand Out
Mechanically, the car is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol motor with mild-hybrid powertrains. On the outside, it sports connected LED lights, a new grille, DRLs, sharp headlights, and pronounced wheel arches. A shark fin antenna, a powered tailgate with gesture control, and rear skid plates further add to its appeal.
Inside, the Victoris boasts 64-colour ambient lighting, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, Alexa assistant with Suzuki maps (including traffic and speed recognition), an Infinity audio system with Dolby Atmos and 8 speakers, a panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable ventilated front seats, and an underbody CNG tank-ensuring CNG variant owners can still make full use of the boot.
The Victoris will be made in India and exported to over 100 international markets.
Safety Score Analysis
According to Suzuki, the Victoris has already been tested for safety and passed with flying colours, receiving a 5-star crash test rating. The detailed breakdown shows 31.66 out of 32 points in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 43 out of 49 in Child Protection, applicable across all variants. Standard safety kit includes six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.
