Maruti Suzuki Eeco New Model: Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new model of its Eeco car in the Indian market. The updated Eeco MPV is now available for a starting price of Rs 5.10 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available in 13 different configurations, including 5-seater, 7-seater, cargo, tour, and ambulance versions. The car’s exterior and engine are both upgraded in the new avatar. Along with the petrol engine, it will be available with a CNG kit.
Maruti Eeco is currently the best-selling van in the country, as well as the most affordable 7-seater car. “Eeco has been purchased by more than 9.75 lakh people in the last decade since its launch. With a 93% market share, it is the market leader in its segment,” said Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco Engine, Mileage
Maruti’s new 1.2-litre Dualjet petrol engine has been added to the Eeco. This engine is used in the Dzire, Swift, Baleno, and other models. At 6,000 rpm, it generates 80.76 PS and has a peak torque output of 104.4 Nm. It outperforms the old engine. Running on CNG reduces power to 71.65 PS and torque to 95 Nm.
According to the manufacturer, the mileage is 20.20 km/l for the petrol engine and 27.05 km/kg for the CNG engine. It uses 29% less fuel than the previous engine.
Maruti Suzuki Eeco Features
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco now has reclining front seats, an AC cabin air filter, and a new battery saver function. It gets a new digital instrument cluster, steering wheel, and rotary AC controls. Engine immobiliser, hazard switch, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, child lock for doors and windows, and reverse parking sensors are all included for your protection.
