The Hyundai Exter is equipped with the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, capable of generating  83PS of maximum power and 114Nm of peak torque. Hyundai also offers 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT options with the Exter. However, you can only buy a manual variant for under Rs 7 lakh. The starting price of Hyundai Exter for the base model is Rs 6.13 lakh and it goes up to Rs 10.28 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec variant.

Tata Punch (Starting Price: Rs 6.13 Lakh)

The Punch is a popular car from Tata that was launched in 2021 as India’s first micro-SUV. It impressed everyone with its 5-star safety rating in Global NCAP’s crash tests, becoming the first small car to secure the score. Under the hood, the Punch houses the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine, which belts out 88PS of maximum power and 115Nm of peak torque. While 5-speed MT and 5-speed AMT options are also available, there is only the manual variant one can buy under Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). The price range of Punch falls between Rs 6.13 to 10.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Nissan Magnite (Starting Price: Rs 6 Lakh)

Unlike the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter, one can buy the manual as well as the automatic variant of Nissan Magnite under Rs 7 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite is equipped with B4D 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which delivers 72PS of maximum power and 96Nm of peak torque. The motor can be connected to either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. While the prices for Magnite MT start at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite AMT costs Rs 6.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices of Magnite range between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 11.27 lakh (ex-showroom).

Renault Kiger (Starting Price: Rs 6 Lakh)

The Renault Kiger comes with a 1.0-litre Energy naturally aspirated petrol engine, churning out 72PS of maximum power and 96Nm of peak torque. The powerplant is connected to a 5-speed MT. While the Renault Kiger AMT is not available under Rs 7 lakh, it’s base model costs Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). The prices for top-spec variant go up to Rs 11.23 lakh.
