New Delhi: The legendary car manufacturer Skoda is preparing to bring back the Skoda Octavia sedan car which was discontinued last year in India. This time the company will offer it with a hybrid engine. Which will compete with cars like Honda Civic, Volkswagen Golf and Toyota Corolla.
Design
Talking about the design of the Skoda Octavia sedan car, it will get a sloping roofline, black butterfly grille with chrome surround, newly designed air vents and integrated L-shape shape daytime running lights, LED headlights as well as black B-pillars, There are also indicator-mounted ORVMs and 17-inch alloy wheels. At the same time, shark-fin antenna and split LED tail lamps have been given in its back side.

Hybrid engine
The discontinued Octavia sedan car uses a 2.0-L TSI petrol engine, which gives 188hp power and 320Nm peak torque. According to the information, a 1.4-L TSI hybrid petrol engine can be seen in the new car, which is capable of giving maximum power of about 210hp and peak torque of 350Nm. Which is linked to 7-speed DSG gearbox.

The new Octavia sedan gets ambient lighting, cruise control, automatic climate control (ACC), wireless charger, rear AC vents and flat bottom multifunctional steering wheel along with 12-speaker Kenton audio system, digital instrument cluster, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay supported 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, eight airbags, ABS, EBD and safety like rear-view camera are also available.

Price
The price and availability of the new Skoda Octavia sedan car is not yet available. But its price can be kept slightly above the price of the old model (Rs 27 lakh ex-showroom).
