Skoda’s new Kylaq, went against the barrier recently and secured a prestigious 5 star safety rating in The Bharat NCAP crash tests. The gleaming 5 star scores that Kylaq has acquired makes it one of the safest Sub Compact SUV in Sub 4 meter SUV segment.
Safety Excellence Like Never Before
Skoda Kylaq has become one of the only vehicles to have exceeded in both adult occupant protection as well as Child Occupant protection. In the adult occupant capacity the car scored a profound 30.88/32 and in child occupant safety the car scored a 45/49. Such impeccable scores make Kylaq the safest car in the segment.
The Kylaq comes equipped with Six airbags, but safety precautions do not end there the car also has 25 active and passive safety features as standard. These include Electronic stability Control. Hill Hold Control, Multi Collision Braking and XDS+ for better crash resilience.
Skoda’s Legacy For Safety
The car has been built on the MQB-AO-IN platform. After the crash the kylaq becomes a new addition to Skoda’s already illustrious list of safety champions. The list includes Kushaq, Slavia both of which were 5- star Global NCAP ratings for safety of Adult Occupants as well as Child Occupants in the car. The car has been developed by Skoda’s technology center in Pune, the car has been purposefully built to easily glide over India’s unique road conditions and the driving preferences of Indians.
