Skoda has been renowned to offer well engineered sub compact SUV’s as a competition against the usual choices KIA Seltos and Creta. The Car has scored a pretty significant safety rating recently and has been the favored choice of many. The Skoda Kyla’s top trim levels Signature+ and Prestige trim levels prices have been slashed by up by Rs 46,000. The base classic and Signature trims, however have witnessed a price hike. The Complete range now priced between Rs 8.25 Lakh to Rs 13.99 lakh EX showroom.
The Kylaq was initially launched at a price of Rs 7.89 Lakh Rs to Rs 14.40 Lakh. Now the basic trim the classic that is available with a manual gearbox is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh, which leads to an upward revision of 36,000. Meanwhile the second from base signature MT and AT variants have also gotten dearer by Rs 26,000 and Rs 36,000 respectively.

The prices of the top trim levels have been deducted as well. The Signature MT and AT variants are more affordable by Rs 15,000 and Rs 5,000 respectively. Meanwhile the top prestige trim’s prices have been reduced by Rs 46,000 and Rs 41,000. It has also been notified that certain colors are optional extras and would require you to pay RS 9,000 extra on the first three trims levels.
Kylaq Sales Details
It was in March, that Skoda Kylaq recorded a sales of around 5,327 units and the total monthly sales unit stood at 7,409 units in India in the last 25 years. The Kylaq is powered by the same engine as that of the Kushaq a 115hp , 1.0 litre Turbo Petrol engine and considering the features the kylaq id a much better alternative than the Kushaq. Now the Kylaq is much more affordable than the likes of Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO and KIA Sonet at the top end, and hence it would further help boost sales.
