Skoda Kodiaq 2023: The Czech Republic car manufacturer Skoda will bring the second generation of its SUV Kodiaq to the Indian market. In an attempt to make it more appealing, the design of the 2023 Kodiaq has been changed.
Skoda Kodiaq 2023 is preparing to enter India in a new guise. The new Kodiaq’s ex-showroom price is expected to be around Rs 37 lakh (Skoda Kodiaq Price). However, no price has been announced by the company as of yet.
Skoda recently teased the new Kodiaq along with the new Skoda Superb. And now, an SUV car resembling the tease has been spotted on the roads of Uttar Pradesh’s Noida.

The design of the 7-seater SUV’s bonnet, grille, bumpers, headlights, and rear lights has been changed to make it more appealing. While, the second-generation Kodiaq will also have a new appearance and features, better electronics, and entirely revamped interiors.
Skoda Kodiaq sales in India were suspended in India from April 2021. Skoda had to halt sales of this SUV due to the country’s adoption of BS-6 pollution standards.
Skoda Kodiaq 2023 Specifications (Expected)
The redesigned Skoda Kodiaq will feature a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 190 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque. It will be paired with a seven-speed automatic DSG gearbox that will provide power to all four wheels. (4-wheel drive)
Previously, the Kodiaq was available with a 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 150 PS. However, the new Skoda Kodiaq 2023 will not be available with a diesel engine.
The SUV will be equipped with a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic) gearbox. There will also be an all-wheel drive (AWD) mode.
The seven-seater will compete with the freshly released VW Tiguan and the Citroen C5 Aircross.
Skoda Kodiaq 2023 Design (Leaked)
The design of the 2022 Kodiaq will be distinct from that of the current Kodiaq. The front grille, bonnet, headlights, and bumper have all been updated. It comes with LED matrix headlights. The tail lamps have been given a subtle yet effective makeover. Similarly, the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned.
The grille section, modified bonnet structure, restyled headlamps with new integrated LED daytime running lights, reworked bumper with central air intake and hexagonal mesh with black surrounds, and a lip spoiler are all new for the 2022 Skoda Kodiaq.
Updated LED tail lamps and a streamlined rear bumper are also highlights. It has been outfitted with new alloy wheels. These are very appealing, and the company hopes the youth will enjoy them.
