Skoda to make a dent into the Indian market with new possible car launches of their formidable new vehicles across different segments. As of yet the brand is in the talks of unveiling its new entrants into the Indian market at the Bharat Mobility Expo, the three cars that seem to have been listed for making it to India would be-
The New Skoda Superb
The Superb was already a part of the Indian market but in the recent past the brand called off the production of the saloon, amid the low sales projected by the car. Earlier in the year the Superb that was already on sale went through a bs6 conversion and received a facelift. After that, the car was reintroduced to the Indian market earlier this year before being called off by the brand.
Upon its Re- entry into the Indian market, the Superb was pitched as a CBU ( Completely Built Unit) import. Hence, the price of the car was about 54 lakhs which was a big reason behind the low sales rate. As of yet Skoda has announced a formidable price drop of about 18 lakhs in the price and the 4rth generation of the vehicle is yet to make its re-entry into the Indian market. The new entrant would be featured at the Bharat Mobility Expo. Visitors would be able to witness the vehicle and experience its new features such as the 13 inch Infotainment Screen, fast charging capabilities for your phone and a segment first HUD which is a completely new addition to the Superb.

The feature list of the new vehicle would include a heads-up-display, Skoda’s Smart Dials, and a Digital Cockpit for the driver. Just like the Superb the Kodiaq would also have a steering mounted Gear Selector Knob. It’s the first time that the Indian variant would be launched with the Dynamic Chassis Control as well.
Skoda Octavia RS
This car would be targeted towards enthusiast buyers of the market. The Indian market has had a long dearth of enthusiast cars, and hence the Octavia Rs would be a formidable entrant in the Indian market. As of yet the its believed that the Indian version would be powered by the 2 litre TSI engine with a power output of about 268 BHP and a peak torque figure of about 370 NM. The Octavia RS would come with a 7 speed DSG gearbox. As per the Director Petr Janeba both the Kodiaq Rs as well as the Octavia RS both are viable options for the brand to provide in the Indian market.
