Electric two wheeler manufacturer Simple Energy has announced the launch of the One electric scooter in the Indian market on May 23, 2023. The company has told that this scooter will be offered in a strong range and at a low price.
Already Launched in 2021
The company launched Simple One on August 15, 2021 itself. Along with this, its booking in India has also started on the same day on token payment of Rs.1947/-. Now this scooter is ready for commercial launch after about two years.
Simple One Electric Scooter: Specification
First of all, look at its range, it is claimed that it is capable of covering a distance of 236 kilometers once it is fully charged. Apart from this, the company also gives the option of swappable battery in this electric scooter, which gives a range of 300 km. Can travel up to An 8.5 kW motor has been used in the scooter, which generates 11 bhp power and 72 Nm torque to the scooter.
Scooter is also best in terms of speed. It has been said that it can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds. Whereas, its top speed is 105 kmph.
Price in India
The company has priced this scooter at Rs 1.10 lakh (standard variant) and Rs 1.45 lakh (extra range variant). In the Indian market, it will compete with electric scooters like Hero Vida V1, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450X Gen 3, Ola Electric S1 Air, Okinawa i-Praise, Komaki DT 3000.
