Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel, people are now getting more attracted towards CNG cars. Owing to which, every car manufacturers in India are coming up with CNG versions of their best selling models.

Looking at the graph of CNG cars for the last six months, on an average 26163 CNG cars are being sold every month.

Highest sale was done on new year 

According to the information, in the last six months from January to June 2023, different companies sold a total of 1,56,983 cars. In this, the highest number of 32,684 CNG cars were sold in January on the occasion of New Year. At the same time, the lowest 21,470 were sold in February.

Hyundai dominates the sale of CNG cars

From January to June 2023, Hyundai sold maximum 2,61,275 CNG cars. After this, Tata Motors has sold a total of 2,47,511 CNG cars. Maruti Suzuki sold 1,15,484 CNG cars and Toyota sold around 80,756 CNG cars.

Mileage of 30.61km/kg in Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG version 

Maruti’s Baleno and Hyundai’s model Aura are high demand cars in CNG cars. According to the information, the Baleno petrol version gives a mileage of 22.35 to 22.94 kmpl. Whereas, its CNG version gives a mileage of 30.61km/kg. The Maruti Suzuki Baleno CNG version gets a 55-litre fuel tank.

5 speed manual and automatic transmission

Hyundai Aura gives a high mileage of 28 km/kg on CNG. Apart from this, this car gives a mileage of 25 kmpl in diesel and 20 kmpl in petrol. Powerful engine of 1197 cc is available in this family car. This engine gives power of 81.8 Bhp. 

It gets both 5 speed manual and automatic transmission. It comes in all three variants petrol, diesel and CNG. The starting price of this sedan car ranges from Rs 6.33 Lakh to Rs 8.90 Lakh ex-showroom.
