Sales Figures: As we roll into a prolonged festive season in October 2024, carmakers such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Mahindra, and others have shared their sales numbers for the month of September 2024.
Some carmakers have rejoice the sale numbers whereas, few are in worrisome with their performance. Here are sales figures of major car companies dominating Indian market for September 2024.
Sales Figures: Maruti Suzuki
According to the data available with BSE, the Maruti Suzuki in September 2024 registered a total domestic passenger vehicle sale of 1,44,962 units.
The company had sold a total of 1,53,106 units of domestic passenger vehicles in September 2023.
The figure shows a decline in sales figure of the Maruti Suzuki in September 2024 compared to the same month of last year.
Sales Figures: Hyundai
Hyundai has registered sales of 64,201 units in September 2024 in India. For Hyundai, its SUV sales accounted for 70% sales last month.
Mahindra
According to the data available with BSE, Mahindra in September 2024 sold a total of 51,062 units of passenger vehicles in India.
The company had sold a total of 41,267 units of domestic passenger vehicles in September 2023.
The figure shows a win in sales figure for Mahindra. The company in September 2024 sold 24% more passenger vehicles compared to the same month of last year.
Tata Motors
According to the data available with BSE, the Tata Motors in September 2024 sold 41,313 units of domestic passenger vehicles.
The company had sold a total of 45,317 units of domestic passenger vehicles in September 2023.
The figure shows a decline in sales figure for Tata. The company’s sale in passenger vehicles declined 9% in September 2024 compared to the same month of last year.
