Royal Enfield continually showcase their creative intents with the creation of special one-off vehicles that are often meant for a limited test run. In a similar pursuit the brand has produced a one off limited run Flat tracker that would be based on the Guerilla 450. Often these vehicles become the test bed for other projects that would be launched in the future. The Flat Tracker would be a factory special that would not shy away from the usual hooliganism on dirt tracks.
The Flat tracker has been purposefully built for Royal Enfield 2025 slide school program that was initiated in a partnership with Dirt Craft and Multi-Time Uk and European Flat Track Champ Gary Birtwistle. The new flat tracker would be powered by a Liquid Cooled 450CC Sherpa Engine from the Guerilla 450. To further ensure that the bike is nimbler than its full fledged cousin the bike has been crafted on a stripped back chassis with a flat track body work, 19 inch rims on custom Hubs and revised ergonomics.
Other Changes
Other changes to the new flat tracker would include a new full-on system exhaust with a new Fuel X tune tuning module that would boost up the performance specs of 40 bhp and 29.5lb.ft of torque, Royal Enfield has not confirmed the specific numbers after the new Tune.
While the Royal Enfield Flat Tracker would not be available for the general public Royal Enfield is offering a flat tracker themed GMA accessory pack for the road going version of the Royal Enfield Guerilla. The accessory pack available overseas would be priced at 697 pounds, the new accessories would include a bench seat, sump and radiator guards with bar end mirrors.
Beyond the new Flat tracker the brand has also teased a new Twin Cylinder Himalayan Model as well. What Royal Enfield teased seemed to have been powered by a 648 CC AIR /oil cooled motor found in their interceptor. The Himalayan was seen being tested alongside the EV bike in the Himalayas. The New Himalayan seemed production ready with an all new engine.
The MotorcycleNews.com report which detailed about the flat tracker further detailed that the new Bigger Himalayan would be able to plug a gap in the firm’s model catalogue, with many riders- Especially in India and Europe and North America as well. While Royal Enfield has not revealed any information regarding the flat tracker it seems that it has no impetus to launch a similar brand in India any time soon.
