When it comes to motorcycles, Royal Enfield has a dedicated fan base not just in India but around the world. The company, known for its robust and stylish bikes, is reportedly gearing up to launch a new model – the Royal Enfield Scrambler 650. According to media reports, this bike is expected to feature LED headlights, taillights, and indicators, making it a modern yet classic addition to their lineup.
Powerful 648cc Engine for High Performance
The Royal Enfield Scrambler 650 is expected to be powered by a 648cc engine, designed to deliver high performance especially on long routes. This bike will feature a twin air-cooled motor, enhancing its power output. Reports suggest that the engine will produce 46.2 bhp at 7,250 rpm and a peak torque of 52.3Nm at 5,650 rpm. Although the exact launch date has not been officially announced by the company yet, it is speculated to be unveiled by November 2024. The bike is likely to be priced at around INR 3.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
6-Speed Gearbox and Advanced Safety Features
The Scrambler 650 comes equipped with dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) for enhanced safety. Both the front and rear tires will have disc brakes to ensure better control and braking efficiency. The bike will boast telescopic forks in the front and new dual springs suspension at the rear, providing a smoother ride. Additionally, the bike will feature a 6-speed gearbox, setting it up to compete with other high-end motorcycles like the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Benelli Leoncino 500, and Moto Morini Seiemmezzo.

The Pulsar NS400Z also comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox and weighs 174 kg, equipped with a 12-liter fuel tank.
