New Delhi: Royal Enfield is going to do another blast in India today. The company will launch its new bike Hunter 350 (Royal Enfield Hunter 350). It is being said that this can be one of the cheapest bikes of the company. From the features of the bike to the look and the price, the details have already been leaked. This bike will get the same engine and platform as the new Classic 350 and Meteor 350. Also, it will be given a look like a neo-retro tourer and scrambler bike. Design
The Hunter 350 has been given a different look from the rest of the company’s bikes. It looks sportier than the Touring. It gets round headlamps, indicators and a long single-piece seat, which gives it a vintage look. This bike looks smaller than the company’s previous motorcycles. The design of its fuel tank also looks different from the rest of the bikes.
Features
Features like tripper navigation pod, and semi-digital instrumentation can be given in the bike. It has 17 inch alloy wheels. Both the tires are tubeless and both also get disc brakes. Depending on the design of the bike, the Hunter 350 can be offered in two variants: Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Metro and Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Retro.
Engine
The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by an updated 349cc, single-cylinder, two-valve, SOHC, air/oil-cooled engine. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. It generates 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
Price
At present, Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is the cheapest bike of the company. Its price is Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new bike can be brought slightly above the Bullet 350. It is being claimed in many media reports that the price of the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 can be around Rs 1.7 lakh.
